The European Workshop on Electrochemical Engineering is organized by the Working Party on Electrochemical Engineering of the European Federation of Chemical Engineering as a new type of event, aiming to bring together specialists in industry and academia working in these fields, while enabling interactions between academia and industry. Knowledge transfer and mutual interaction will be strongly promoted by round table gatherings and short presentations that allow research centres and industry to present their main interests and more advanced research. Moreover, a poster session is included in the program.
We strongly believe that this Workshop will provide an opportunity to advance communication between scientists from university, including industry and young researchers. During this event, scientists from universities, industry and young researchers will have the chance to network, exchanging useful knowledge in one location within the European Congress of Chemical Engineering.
The workshop will cover the following fields:
- Electrochemical reactors and industrial electrochemistry
- Electrochemical engineering for environment and energy
- Link between industry and academy
- Corrosion and new topics in electrochemical engineering
Manuel A. Rodrigo – Chairman of the EFCE WP on Electrochemical Engineering
Alain Bergel , INP de Toulouse - France
AnnCornell, Royal Institute of Techno. - Sweden
Francois Lapicque, Nancy Université - France
It will be held on Monday 28th September (Gallieni 1-2 room) and Tuesday 29th September (Gallieni 4 room).
